One thing most parents get wrong about NYU

NYU rates rigor of secondary school record, GPA, the essay, recommendations and character as Very Important, and rates test scores only Important — a tier below. Only about 28% of admitted students submitted an SAT score at all. The average admitted GPA was 3.81, and 18% had a 4.0, which means 82% did not.
