One thing most parents get wrong about UCLA

UCLA admitted 9.4% overall — but Samueli Engineering admitted 6.8% and Nursing admitted 0.5%, taking 31 students from 5,669 applicants. The College admitted 11%. If your child wants engineering and you have been using the 9.4% figure, you are off by a third. UCLA also does not consider SAT or ACT scores at all, which makes the test prep many families are paying for irrelevant here.
