One thing most parents get wrong about Penn

Penn's published 5.4% admit rate is not the number your child faces in the regular round. Penn does not report a separate Early Decision lane, which means that 5.4% blends ED admits into it — so the real regular-decision rate is lower than the figure every parent quotes. Penn also publishes no composite SAT band at all; it reports EBRW 740–770 and Math 770–800 separately.

What this is not

It is not an admissions consultant. Nobody here will read or write your child's essay. It cannot tell you whether your child will get in — no one can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something worse than this. If that is what you want, do not buy this.
